Pah, I wish, I haven't even had time to get on here the last few nights, all because of the weather, it's too damn hot! Austin can't sleep so I have been stuck trying to get him to sleep until almost 10 for the last few nights and I'm exhausted. I'm behind with house work because when he finally sleeps I need to do the same and when he's not asleep I'm either looking after him or up at the hospital. It's all such a chore atm. I have just had great news!!! OH just called to tell me his Dr has just been in, he is responding really well to treatment, there is a 70% reduction in leukemia cells already and they are saying he has a 90% chance of going into remission by the end of this first round of chemo!!! I'm so happy I don't know what to do with myself. I know that he may not go into remission on this round but I'm clinging to the info I have just got with both hands and there is nothing that can get me today!!! He will...

This is just a little self indulgence to remind myself what I can do when I need and want to. If you haven't seen my garden you don't know what sort of state it was in. Half of the paving slabs were so overgrown you couldn't even see where they were, it was ridiculous. Today on a 4 hour gardening session I have weeded and found the slabs

Ah the age old question, most frequently asked when the world has taken a great big crap right on your doorstep. We all know the correct response "I'm ok" and at the present time I frequently have this little Q&A, but would you like to know a secret.... I'm not ok, in fact ok was a few stops down the line and I am now heading full steam ahead into a little town precariously perched between sanity and a nervous break down.

It all starts tomorrow

Tomorrow will be OH's first day of chemo and I currently have no idea how I feel about it I don't even know what to write. I have to be strong but sometimes just want to curl up in a corner. Austin can't spend much time with him because he just gets bored and has to be taken out of the hospital, I'm worried he will barely get to see OH if he gets bored and OH is too ill. I'm still not convinced this isn't all some horrid nightmare.
