Yesterday was our sons first birthday, it was also the day we found out my other half has acute myeloid leukemia, so a mixed bag as days go. Our son is just learning to walk and talk and now he will miss it as he will be in hospital having aggressive Chemotherapy. I'm stating this blog so that I have somewhere to turn to to keep a record that will maybe prove useful to others and so that on the days where I can't remember my own name I can still have a record of what needs to be done and how we can all get through this together, despite the fact we have got a hard road to follow these next few months.
