Pocket nappies are popular because once assembled, there is just one piece to put on the baby, so you have the ease of nappying of an all in one (or even a disposable), but as the parts separate in the wash, they also dry pretty fast. Best of both worlds? Yes and no! I'm not sure there is such a thing as the perfect nappy - the downsides with pockets are that you have to assemble them again after washing; they can take up more room on the airer/line than other nappy systems; and they don't always contain the more explosive stuff as well as a 2 part system will. However, if you're looking to convert from disposables and you want something that's easy to use and doesn't take forever to dry, pocket nappies are well worth looking into.
