Blog Subject:  My return to the saddle!!
I am going to start up horse riding again....i was a pony mad youngster and beyond and even worked with them upon leaving school, unfortunately i got a really bad back so that put paid to my ambitions. :cry: :cry:

Since Emma as been taking lessons at a local riding school i have wanted to get back in the saddle so the other day i bit the bullet and ordered some new gear and am awaiting some preloved riding boots/new jods and a new riding coat too as not sure what happened to mine. I can't wait to get going and thought by keeping a blog on here of my progress i can update you all too!!

Sounds fab Nic, I was horse mad too as a kid and rode until I was about 14 or 15. I'd love to get back into it, but unfortunately the only people that seem to ride in Dublin are travellers (pikeys) that keep their horses in their gardens :roll: :( .
Ah well, will just have to wait until I'm settled in my lovely house in the West of Ireland :hohoho: Like that'll ever happen!

I used to ride too and went through a phase of wanting to take it up again, but then figured falling off will hurt alot more now that I'm older!! Of course the plan would be NOT to fall off lol. Think it's fab Nic, hope your boots, jodhpurs etc arrive soon and you can get back in the saddle. Looking forward to the pics!!
