Had my lesson last Sunday (forgot to update here earlier) and i was on Alfie, who is perhaps a tiny touch bigger than Roxy. Now Alfie was lovely, not quite as stroppy as Roxy (Roxy is typical mare!!) and he was nice. I got some better canters going too!! Cantering is my downfall at the minute, feel pretty happy with my trot but canter is harder work than i imagined it as a child. Still it is improving slowly i feel.....got to improve alot come October time though as want to canter on that beach (on my riding holiday!)

I'm so jealous, I used to ride until the age of 18. I would really love to go again but think that might be a bit of a pipe dream. Keep us updated, I can live vicariously through you!
