Yoga went well last night, and in general it was MUCH less strenuous than my usual class, though we did spend longer in just a few poses and working on those, instead of doing a larger range of poses, and it still killed at times. I think I prefer the other class. Although this one is better suited to my current level of fitness and flexibility, the other gives me more of a work out and a general all-over session.
I seem to have been pushed into being less fit than ever during this pregnancy, having less sleep and more sickness and the anaemia. Of course, the other one technically ended at 8 1/2weeks, even tho I didn't miscarry until 12 1/2, so maybe that's why I was able to do a bit more last time. I suppose I have also been more cautious this time, and now am finding the usual exercise video a bit too quick, and it's a pain having to move the furniture. Maybe I'll give the other one a go again. It seems ludicrous in the extreme to not be as fit as possible before the birth (though not going hell for leather, obv).
Am having a bit of a "blah" day again today. I think it's the lack of contact. However, my postponed job has just been rearranged for next Wednesday, so that'll give me something different to do. I also have the various appointments over the weekend. Sometimes I really wish we hadn't had to move every 2 years for dh's job (now thankfully is permanent) It's so hard to settle and get to know people, especially because we rarely go out, since we don't have the money- or we spend a little on an exercise class instead. Now, of course, dh no longer comes with me to yoga since he's trying to save money. He'll still buy his several bottles of beer a week, tho!
Easily worth one yoga class.I'm sure we'll get to know more people once our baby is here. I've been missing having my mum close, too. Not that I've had that for years (like a lot of people, I guess). It'd be nice if the rest of my family realised how much they take that for granted- they all live within 10 miles, tho my brother is hoping to move even further away (let's see him commandeer my mum for babysitting duties then!)
Right, am off to have home made veg soup. That always cheers me up.
