Same horse as last time, had great time although it was with the instructor i least prefer.
Did lots of trotting and a small canter too. I was the lead horse this time so friend was following me.

We had great fun. I was on Roxy again (i love that mare) and my friend being taller than me was on Benson who is bigger than Roxy. They are very good horses though and we loved it. I cantered again and had fun. My friends horse was just meant to trot and he started to canter but my friend sat really well on him and she enjoyed it too. It was her first lesson back in the saddle in about 7 years so we have booked again for next week! ...

I thoroughly enjoyed it today, had same instructor so was abit apprehensive. As in my 2nd lesson i wasn't as keen. Anyway i did work with no stirrups as well as holding reins in one hand and putting hand onto head, hip etc with other hand.
Also had me checking my correct diagonal too which was good. I also cantered for first time too, just a short one, since i returned to the saddle so that was good. Feeling pretty pleased with the way it went!!

Just had my 2nd lesson earlier, same horse and instructor, found out today that Roxy is abit bigger than i was originally told so she is in fact a horse (approx 15HH).

We did lots of trotting, Roxy is quite lazy at times apparently and it can be hard work getting her into trot but i felt i did well. 2nd lesson so very early days but i think i'm doing ok. ...

Was great and didn't feel like i had been out of the saddle in all those years, trot was easier to pick back up than i thought it would be!! ...
