Intro and 34 week midwife appointment :)

Introducing me!
My name is Sophie, age 22 and currently 34+1 weeks pregnant with a baby girl :)

Ever since my GP told me baby was definately transverse lie at 31 weeks I have been worried about the baby's position. She told me ooh she has 4 weeks to change position or off for a c-section you go! Which made me wonder what I could do to help baby get in the optimum position...

Fast forward to today and the midwife had a really good feel and declared baby is not transverse or breech at all. I was so relieved, silly I know! She also said the baby's head was 3/5 engaged, which explains the sudden short urges to wee! Baby's position or at least her head and torso position was confirmed with the doppler, which is always a reassuring sound - I don't own a doppler myself.
So, I am going to continue bouncing and rocking on my birthing ball :)

I asked her recommendation on raspberry leaf tea and she doesn't think much of it, she told me sex and pineapple eaten within 30 mins of being sliced are effective. I bought a pack of Clipper RLT after the appointment and had one cup and it tasted surprisingly nice!

Whether it works or not I don't know, I'm not sure when it is best to take it from, but only going to have a cup a day for a week or so, then up to 2 and so on.

Going to have a bath to relax my muscles and talk to the baby :)
