STOP PRESS!

by loumo on Tue Jun 07, 2011 4:43 pm
'Impress' is off the needles! Just hunting for the perfect button, I had two in mind and can find neither...

But there seems to be a half made fidget on my needles already, and it needs buttons too.

*Scurries off to look for a 'buttons' section on classifieds*

Starting a nappy blog

by june2007 on Tue Mar 02, 2010 5:36 pm
Hi I am Angela and I have started a nappy blog. I am also a nappy advisor with my own nappy site. I have mostly used Terry squares with my DD with motherease rikki wraps. However i do have a few BG's for use with my child minder and some Bamboozles size1. After 2 1/2 years my Boots/Mothercase Terries arenot as soft as they were so am debating on weather to use them on Bump due in July. Not decided on what to use. I also have a Lolliop rainbow size 1 and the odd fuzzibunz.

I use a Snappi to hold it on and I use Baby Bee Hinds wool covers for nights... with a bamboo booster laid ontop the terry. I could rant about terry nappies for hours so I started a blog about them, and I am going to make some more posts there soon about different sorts of terries, cos a lot of people dont realise that there's more ot terries than just yer granny's non-rare...

The snowdrops in my garden are shooting up into the world again, won't be very long until their flowers come with the promise of Spring approaching.
It's been a cold hard Winter here this year, lots of coal-tits and robins about though, they seem to love perching in the bare Hawthorn and springing up off into the air again.

Winter is a fabulous time to be snuggled up warm indoors of an evening with a ball of yarn and the clicketty of needles working it into something special. My current project...
