35+1 today

Annoyed that I couldn't get a 36 week mw appointment for next week, so I will be a day off full term by the time I do see her. Shouldn't matter too much really. I just like hearing baby's heart beat, it is so reassuring :pregnant:

Been spending my time organising the baby's room (although baby will be with us in our room at first), so been putting clothes, swaddlepods, sleepingbags...

My lovely little boy woke we again at about 5:25am, after a late night. :lol:

I just couldn't get back to sleep after that until moments before the alarm went off. I was just getting breakfast when my boss/colleague's (am technically self employed) wife called to say that he wasn't well so we'd have to postpone the job today, which suited me fine. Shame he's unwell, tho.

So had my scan this morning. I was right. The baby is gone. Such a blow at this stage. Heartbeat and movement found at 20 week scan so has died at some point in the last 2 or 3 weeks.

Got to think about undoing everything now. Untelling people. Packing up the baby clothes etc. The worst bit is having to deliver the baby. Seems so cruel to have to go through that and not have a baby at the end of it.

Hopefully they will find a reason for it but as I said in blog yesterday I knew it was not going...
