My Nappy and wool Stash @ 19/03/09

My first blog :idea:

I've finally sorted through my nappy stash and made a complete list so thought I'd add it on a blog, nice way to keep a tab on it!!!

My sewing projects

Well hubby bought me a sewing machine and overlocker so I thought I would start making my own nappies for the little one. I had thought about doing it for a long time, but have recently just got into it and have made 4 in the last week when hubby was doing his private pilot's licence in France.

This is my first attempt, a fitted one size with Red Robots knit and bamboo fleece, I needed a bit more practice with the snap placement but overall was very happy!

I think I'm late, bit scared to go and do a test. Haven't told my dh yet. Not sure what I think apart from knowing the three kids are proving enough of a handful atm :-?

A fluffy update

Well, it didn't take long before I was forced to re-evaluate my stash.

The Ittis were, although slimmish and absorbant, an awful fit once Merry started walking. That, and the hardness of the inserts (rather a cardboard effect that bamboo often has) prompted me to give them the heave-ho, so we were back to fluffles and wraps when at home and WN AI2s when out and about.

Clothnappytree Raspberry Pi project

After a long wait, the eagerly anticipated Raspberry Pi has arrived!! :) :)

Apparently the Raspberry Pi is a little easier to get hold of in England, but I down under count myself very lucky to have got one after many months of waiting.

You might have heard about the Raspberry Pi as they're made by an innovative UK organisation...
