So I thought it was about time I got back on this and gave a bit of an update. We got back off holiday last Friday and life has been almost back to normal. We had a lovely time in Northumberland, the weather was nice and we spent pretty much every day on the beach. Austin loved playing on the beach and paddling in the sea and having all the fresh air and sand and other children around him to play with (which just makes me more sad that we will have to wait so long for baby number 2). OH was allowed...

I should have got photos. My first (and last) attempt at making play dough for the kids was a disaster!

2 cups flour
2 cups water
1 cup salt
mix. mix. mix. mix.

Easy right? wroooooooong! The resultant mess is now in my food bin awaiting the recycling men on Thursday! :cry:

AND I added some vanilla essence for a yummy smell. OOps. I am sucking up the cost of buying the stuff...

Had another group lesson with just Emma and best friend. I rode Alfie again. It didn't go quite as well as the last lesson but i am getting there. It's my canter that lets me down, feel my trot is quite ok.

We had a new instructor and she was great, really explained things well and alot more than other instructor did so we are sticking with her from now on!!

I had a so-so evening yesterday.
Good points:
Cooking my OH a chilli con carne (not my cup of tea, but may have converted myself, haha!) and him adoring it

Pampering bath
Hypnobirthing relaxtion and massage
Not so good points:
Really sudden shooting pains down there, maybe to do with the engagement of the baby's head? At my 34 week mw appt baby was 3/5 engaged. This was followed by some rather intense...
