Miss Kitty is 6mths today. There were many, many time that I thought we'd never see this day, and I am thrilled that she is so healthy. We are celebrating with new knitted lovliness - a dress for her, a fidget for me - and some blw. Yesterday I pre-washed my first 6 cloth nappies, they are on the airer right now (it is really cold here these days so they did not get dry overnight), and tomorrow our cloth nappy adventure begins :yahoo:

But our story started more than 10 years ago when I heard a program on the radio about disposable nappies. I don't remember what they said in that program but I remember very well that I was shocked....

We are fast approaching Meredith's first birthday (where did the time go?) and have decided to venture out of the comfort zone of TB Fluffles and wraps. Don't get me wrong, I love them, and they have served as well over the last 8 months, but the time has come to diversify. I guess there are three reasons.

I had an electrocardiogram today (echocardiogram on Sat.) and saw the consultant and have been discharged- everything was fine and I don't need antibiotic cover- woohoo! And I finally know what kind of heart murmur I have. I will be phoning my mw this Thurs to get my name on that homebirth list! Yay!! It's all actually going as I hoped, and more. :wine:

Off to have a shower after my yoga...
