leaking and kicking

by frankie_n_baby on Thu Feb 12, 2009 4:23 pm
Well, I am sooo pleased that my little guy is kicking and moving much of the time now. He is fabulous and I can't wait to meet him! The boobs are also getting even more warmed up- lots of night time leaking, which is weird in some ways but cool and oddly normal in others. I can't believe I'll be 6 months pregnant by the 24th Feb.

The nursery is coming on- we have put up the cot, and need to get a mattress for it, but the chest of drawers/changing table is neatly in place...

First symptoms.

by winniewheresmypooh on Tue Mar 01, 2011 1:15 pm
I got my BFP yesterday and it already feels like ages ago!

LMP: 1/2/11
Ovulation period: 11/2/11 - 15/2/11
DTD: 12/2/11

I suspected that I was pregnant before my BFP as I had the following signs:

1. Boobs. The first tell tale sign within a few days of DTD (doing the deed) they were not sore as such but nipple felt slightly tingly and a bit of a dull ache on certain areas of the breast. Wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't been looking for it though. No change in size.

by MrC on Mon Apr 08, 2013 3:24 am
In the hope that this helps someone out there do something that took way too much of my time and so that I don't forget:

1) First off make sure your swap partition is bigger than your RAM otherwise you wont have enough space to save the contents of your memory. Use gparted or whatever takes your fancy. Plenty of help on the net for this so I won't go into it.

2) Hibernation was removed from Ubuntu so you need to get it back into you shutdown menu again:
Open:
Code: Select all
sudo nano /etc/polkit-1/localauthority/50-local.d/com.ubuntu.enable-hibernate.pkla
...

What a great pick me up

by 0_Lisa_0 on Sun Aug 01, 2010 8:40 pm
So I've been going to the gym for a few weeks now and I love it   I thought it was going to be really hard to get myself motivated and keep going but I'm really enjoying myself. The best part is I'm already getting compliments from people saying I have lost weight...
