I had a massive lie in today to make up for the late nights and early morning when my SIL and co were here. I am so not looking after myself sleep-wise. I keep promising myself a nap during the day when I do end up getting up early after a bad night, but never make it. And I am so useless at going to bed. It's often gone 10:30pm when I actually make move, and it's usually gone 11:30pm when I get to switch the light off. It doesn't help that hubbie doesn't come to bed until...

Well, since I last blogged a long long time ago we have had lots of ups and downs with ds's sleep. As time has gone on, people have been more and more surprised that ds still didn't sleep well (the paranoid part of me says more and more disbelieving) and surprised I was still feeding him, especially at night (a big part of survival, so far as I was concerned). So far Sandy doesnt have many cloth nappies. We got a starter pack of 5 different nappies from our local nappy scheme back in November and at the same time I ordered a couple extra tots bots and we have been using these (2 days worth) as well as disposables ever since.

This week i have 4 itti bitti d'lish, 11 bum genius V3, 3 fuzzi bunz and 4 other pocket nappies arriving so can finally put the sposies away

Two nights ago, while waiting up for our guest to arrive at the house (house being a rather grand word for our accomodation...but it's more than spacious enough for us!) I finally got a chance to sew the first cloth nappy. The elastic sewing is really terrible, but by the time I finally got to the elastic, it was 2:30 am...so I wasn't expecting a work of nappy art. Last night after we got home from an evening out with our guest, I did a quick insert with scraps and finished off the project.
