West Berkshire Council and Veolia Environmental Services are launching their new season of Nappuccinos, to encourage parents to make the change to real nappies. Changing to real nappies has lots of benefits for families, including saving money and reducing the amount of waste thrown away.

The first day as a "single" mum

OK so I'm not single but today is my first night actually alone in the house with Austin :(
This will be the first time for the next month or so that I will be alone to take care of Austin and the house all on my own and while I enjoy the moments of piece and quiet I get I am now dreading the time I will get alone with my thoughts. I'm managing to hold it all together when I can just think about what I need to get...

Last weeks lesson!

Lesson last Sunday went well and we all enjoyed it. We did some trot work with no stirrups which makes me feel abit wobbly in the saddle still. :oops:

Still really enjoying our lessons. Emmas riding is coming along. Her key problem is keeping her heels down. As far as i know my position isn't too bad, riding instructor (RI) often doesn't comment on it and the RI showed me as the example of how...

Wool - dyed and knittedinto longies

The first lot of Merino wool I bought online, together with some sachets of Kool-Aid.
LOADS of photos - again, to remind myself how I did it (my children stole my memory via my placenta :| )
