Honour Your Flow has arrived!

[size=85]I'm very excited, because our first order from Honour Your Flow has arrived! For those not in the know, Honour Your Flow is a range of reusable sanitary towels (AKA CSP on here I believe - cloth sanitary pads), they're made in the UK by another CNT member and are really good quality, I only wish I could sew like that, but there you go. My sewing machine is redundant and covered in mould after a leaking radiator incident. Ho hum.

Back to the sanitary pads - we've got Honour Your Flow...

In the beginning....

I'm a cloth convert and now im a cloth addict :giggle:
Aimee was born on August 11th, 2 weeks late, and to begin with we used disposables, i had been curious about cloth nappies but always thought they were to fiddley, probably more messy etc etc

So for the first 6 and a half weeks we used huggies, during that time i researched reusable nappy schemes and found one in manchester, the council offered...

Rant-free...if possible

So I still have no water downstairs. Which is making feeding and clothing three kids, one in cloth nappies, somewhat challenging. Toxic chemical didn't work, next step is rodding the standpipe, but as it is full of acid, I need to wait for hubbie to come hold the babbas...

So, while i wait and can't clean or cook, i'm stuck with chilling and knitting. Sad but true :giggle:

Holly's first cloth

Holly is now 10 days old and I have just put her in a Little Gumnut fitted and Gen-Y wrap. A part of me wishes we had started sooner but I wanted to wait for her stump to come off first which it now has (cord stumps scare me :lol: )
so we will see how today goes and hopefully by the end of the day we will have some idea of what is going to work ...
