by indigosky2k on Sun Jun 28, 2009 11:00 pm
Well I'm always starting blogs and never keeping them up, so I'm not even going to suggest I might

Kacie Claire was born on April 17 2009, after 49 hours in labour and every intervention short of a c-section  My little forceps baby weighed 7lbs 12ozs, though she was a little blurry on the scales...

Birth Story: Holly Ann Taylor

by 0_Lisa_0 on Fri Feb 24, 2012 4:05 pm
Holly Ann Taylor born 22.2.2012 @ 17.03 weighing 8lb 6oz, a natural drug free homebirth.

My contractions originally started on 21st at about 4pm, just as I was going to OH's parents for dinner, they were uncomfortable but bareable and by the time dinner was over they were starting to slow down though not easing so I just got on with my usual routine. After my BFP I was waiting for a miscarriage, after the 12week scan I was waiting to be told there was no heartbeat at the 16 weeks scan. It was just like I was constantly waiting to be told the inevitable in my mind. So although I am very sad that the baby is lost, I am actually very pleased that all the worry is...

sleep on it

by frankie_n_baby on Fri Jan 30, 2009 1:07 pm
Well, after having a good rest last night, I feel better about the whole birth thing. As my dh keeps reminding me, in many ways there is no "battle", because we won't be having a hospital birth (unless need to transfer urgently). I am beginning to understand the comments on the AIMS website about women becoming so fed up with it that they even consider having no mw. While I wouldn't have an unassisted birth, I do feel more anxious about who will be attending, and whether I get a nice mw....
