We tried sweet potato chips for tea yesterday and :shock:

wow, not one bit of mess. She ate every single one of them really quickly so I can chalk them up as another hit. I'll do her some more for lunch today as they were so quick to do, I just par boiled them for 5 minutes then shoved them in the roasting tray with a small amount of oil. I sneaked a couple in Jack's normal chips too and he ate them...

I have decided that I enjoy my "me" time but recently I have come to appreciate true family time much more. I love the fact that Austin and this new baby will both enjoy a large extended family (from OH's side anyway). I took the opportunity to have a half hour private lesson on the same horse but it was my riding instructors (RI) day off so i had a different one. My canters are still abit ropey at times. She said my position in trot is good but then i lean forward trying to get the horse into canter as if i am urging him to go into canter and then i get all unbalanced in my position.

I am still enjoying the lessons though and keeping it fun!!

I had a massive lie in today to make up for the late nights and early morning when my SIL and co were here. I am so not looking after myself sleep-wise. I keep promising myself a nap during the day when I do end up getting up early after a bad night, but never make it. And I am so useless at going to bed. It's often gone 10:30pm when I actually make move, and it's usually gone 11:30pm when I get to switch the light off. It doesn't help that hubbie doesn't come to bed until...
