Well, we've tweaked the stash again! and streamlined the nappies to just those that really suit us. The pockets are out the window and we are sticking firmly to AIOs and SIOs.

It still amazes me how different people react to the same nappy. A couple of the pockets I ordered were tried and tested nappies that many people rated very highly, yet I just didn't see the appeal. And then some people tried some of the nappies I can always rely on, only to find they leaked...

Just spent some time round my mums and she dug out an old terry square of hers. Not sure how many children it was used for as she has had five but it was soo much better quality then mine. She said she used to get the best. So it seems you do get what you pay for. So if your looking at terrries my advice is don't go for the cheapest. And stay away from those awful boots plastic pants. They rip very badly.

Well OH has been and deposited his "specimen" today so we now still have that glimmer of hope of another baby some time in the future. The only worry now is that I just keep thinking what if it all goes wrong and it doesn't freeze properly or it can't be used. Usually people are asked to give 2 or 3 samples over the same amount of weeks to give better chances but we have just the one lonely pot in a freezer somewhere with our name on it. Ok....so I have a lot of stuff I need to sort out /get/do before this baby arrives so I thought I would start a list here. 1) move house. 2) decorate the babys room. 3) cut/blackout line and make the curtains for his bedroom. 4) buy more yarn, and get more yarn dyed up to match the wahm tshirts I've already bought or have coming. 5) Get newborn soakers knitted by someone. ...
