Teething, boobs and ventures new

Not much chance to blog this week. Kit is teething. Big time. Which means we alternate between nursing strike on one side, gnawing the nipple to bits but not sucking, then screaming in fury when milk dares to drench her, and suckling constantly, even drinking while asleep. Oh, yes, and screaming when the boob goes anywhere else. Each morning is an unknown...will the boob be her only comfort or the butt of her rage?! Will I be lopsided and wishing she'd feed, or drained and wishing she'd stop?...

While browsing the list of WAHMs and looking at various products, I am again wondering about washable sanitary wear, and mooncups. Not sure about whether the mooncup is right for me, and wondering about the many different pads available. For some time I'd been wondering about all those unpleasant disposables (pads and tampons) and how they end up, and how damn much we have to spend in a lifetime for something that's not in any way in our control. Had a one hour group lesson last Sunday with Emma and my best friend and it was SUPERB!!! :D :D My horse Alfie who i only rode for first time last lesson went really really well and we got some superb canters in.
