OK so I'm not single but today is my first night actually alone in the house with Austin

This will be the first time for the next month or so that I will be alone to take care of Austin and the house all on my own and while I enjoy the moments of piece and quiet I get I am now dreading the time I will get alone with my thoughts. I'm managing to hold it all together when I can just think about what I need to get...

So I thought it was about time I got back on this and gave a bit of an update. We got back off holiday last Friday and life has been almost back to normal. We had a lovely time in Northumberland, the weather was nice and we spent pretty much every day on the beach. Austin loved playing on the beach and paddling in the sea and having all the fresh air and sand and other children around him to play with (which just makes me more sad that we will have to wait so long for baby number 2). OH was allowed...

We bought a nice, inexpensive chest of drawers from Ikea on Saturday and after OH made a fantastic roast on Sunday he assembled it. I am so pleased with him and it haha!
The top drawer is the designated fluff drawer, with the storage boxes I bought filled with the nappies, wraps, inserts. boosters. I have to say it looks pretty organised at the moment...I wonder how long that will last!
I do still need to wash a fair few of them, especially the pre-loved ones.
Clothes are in the middle drawer...

I am so relieved to be home and cosy. I had a bad night last night and had to be up at 6:45am to get ready for work in Staffordshire. As it turned out there was a mix-up and the job was cancelled, so I was able to peel off the layers and layers of clothes I'd donned in preparation for a long cold morning/afternoon outside looking for signs of bats, birds etc. I got a lift back from my boss/colleague as dh had dropped me off before going to work. I am sooo sleepy, and will...
