Waiting, anticipating

I am wondering whether my order from babykind will arrive today. I hope so, as that package contains my big variety of nappies. I have more to order, and now I think of it, I'm certain I had a nappy dream last night! :oops: How geeky! Anyhoo, I must remember to get more liners for my terrys, and wraps for them, too. I should really be in bed but...

Dh has had an email from an academic acquaintance about a job at the uni of York, which has just come joint top in the country for biology, (and 8th in the country generally, only one below where he is now) and which seems tailor-made. He's thinking of applying, since there's nothing to lose.
I am psyched that I finally got to speak to my mw and sort out my next appointment, given that I've not been seen by anyone for 10 weeks, and that the consultant didn't tell me to make...

Exciting day

This morning dh had a reply from the ecological consultancy who coincidentally started offering the same species diagnostics service as dh and I have just started up as a mini business trial. She was perfectly pleasant in her email and, as suspected, they are going to subcontract rather than do it themselves (being ecologists not geneticists). As a bonus, though, she asked whether I'd be interested in more freelance surveying, as they are always on the look-out for more freelance...

Completed My First CSP **Loads of Pics**

Right Here it goes, they say a picture is a thousand words, lets hope so as i'm rubbish at describing things

First things First i Pre-washed all the fabrics (not taking no chances in shrinkage etc)

Shown the the Pic is red Velour, three different designs of Flannel (which did fray in pre-wash) plain cream cotton, and fleece (not shown is my Minkee)

at this point i'd already made my liners (got impatient...

I've had my baby!

Surprise!
Lily Annabelle Isla arrivved 4 weeks early bang on 36 weeks, obviously thought she'd steal the llimelight as me and oh had just got engaged :)
I am typing one hand atm, got L in the other arm and I suspect a nappy change is appropriate haha!
So, will update soon and put birth story in the right bit of the forum :wave: ...
