I spent xmas round my inlaws and then my parents away from home. I decided to use disps for when I was away as I did not want to produce my mother with having to wash the clothies. Mmm so much for saving on washing, the disps leaked so much that I had to wash the baby grows as I would have run out otherwise. My mum had a different brand to me thinking they leaked less, I wasn't so sure. So if anyone asks if cloth nappies leak, in my experience less then disposables do.
Miss Kitty is 6mths today. There were many, many time that I thought we'd never see this day, and I am thrilled that she is so healthy. We are celebrating with new knitted lovliness - a dress for her, a fidget for me - and some blw. I didn't realise how MUCH mama cloth contains! Thanks to a post I read here I decided to rinse out my pads today. (normally I throw them in with the nappies for a rinse before the wash) And it takes a LONG time for the water to run clean! Said post probably also answered a question I had about the mama cloth so I got two for the price of one LOL.
Surprise! Lily Annabelle Isla arrivved 4 weeks early bang on 36 weeks, obviously thought she'd steal the llimelight as me and oh had just got engaged I am typing one hand atm, got L in the other arm and I suspect a nappy change is appropriate haha! Haven't checked in for over a week cos I haven't had any symptoms really. What I had when I found out disappeared fro the last week and have now got symptoms back.
So a week of feeling fantastic and like I wasn't even pregnant. Made me worry a little TBH so the fact that I am feeling something now is reassuring at least. Would rather be able to eat more than half a slice of toast in the morning though ...
