Back to earth with a bump.

by 0_Lisa_0 on Fri Jun 25, 2010 7:55 pm
No long post tonight, I just want to remember how life can remind you of just how serious your problems are with one little episode. OH blacked out twice today and so we are all reminded today of just how serious everything is, this is cancer, it is real and it is serious and despite how well it has all gone up to now maybe we should all be a bit more cautious about what we are dealing with.
On an upnote (and, yes, even on a crap day like today there can be an upnote) I think we may have found the...

Ordered some lovely nappy things :)

by frankie_n_baby on Sun Feb 01, 2009 9:36 pm
I'm back from my visit to my family and now have a cot, moses basket, bedding, bags and bags of clothes (and that's just 0-3 and 3-6months!) etc.etc. The nursery-to-be is chocka. Leaky dips

by june2007 on Fri Jan 07, 2011 9:49 am
I spent xmas round my inlaws and then my parents away from home. I decided to use disps for when I was away as I did not want to produce my mother with having to wash the clothies. Mmm so much for saving on washing, the disps leaked so much that I had to wash the baby grows as I would have run out otherwise. My mum had a different brand to me thinking they leaked less, I wasn't so sure. So if anyone asks if cloth nappies leak, in my experience less then disposables do.

Which my brain can't quite handle and so I keep running three washloads per day (let's face it, cloth nappies and blw mean stcks of laundry!) then having to hang it all over the house and keep turning it and checking it...

Anyway, I got the fidget scarflet finished. Bought buttons for it, about which I am yet undecided. Also got a button cute enough for impress...for 10p! Started a second...

Feeling lazy

by frankie_n_baby on Sat Feb 21, 2009 10:24 am
I'm waiting for dh to come back after a night away visiting a work colleague/friend. I could have gone, too but didn't fancy the work-related bit (going round the lab and talking about some new things they're going to collaborate on), and didn't fancy the late night followed by being woken early by their kids. Plus, last time we left the cat overnight he pooed on the kitchen floor, despite having a clean litter tray (protest poo) ...
