Lucys adventures in blw

Well 1 week in and blw seems to be going well. Last week she seemed to just play with the food rather than eating it but this week she has really got down to business. The big hit of the day was avocado and banana mashed and spread on rice cakes yuck. She must be a savoury girl (not like me) as the face she pulled when I gave her a bit of nectarine was a picture :hohoho: . We are avoiding wheat, eggs...

About time I started a Blog!

I think it's high time I put aside some time to start a blog! I'm not going right back to the beginning, so will start with my newest fanaticism of knitting wool nappy covers! I thought I didn't have an ounce of creativity in me until I started, by working out and writing a shorties pattern. This worked so well, that I started adapting and imroving it, and now have done lots of longies, shorties, skirties, soakers, pantaloons, bloomers, and all sorts.

Currently just finishing off a group of 4 soakers...

I am so relieved to be home and cosy. I had a bad night last night and had to be up at 6:45am to get ready for work in Staffordshire. As it turned out there was a mix-up and the job was cancelled, so I was able to peel off the layers and layers of clothes I'd donned in preparation for a long cold morning/afternoon outside looking for signs of bats, birds etc. I got a lift back from my boss/colleague as dh had dropped me off before going to work. Testing nappy.

Lollipop are launching a new nappy it's a cross between there current softee and there micro. I was the tester. I tried size 1 on my son. It was a lovely soft minkee nappy with a seperate booster. I also tried the lollipop wrap provided. (also velsro) very soft and snuggly and not as bulky as the older lollipop nappies. TRied during the day and the night and one very satisfied customer. They are launching it in Red, Orange, Blue, White and green (I think.) Will be putting it onmy website. Size one...
