Well AF has arrived today. I've been expecting a visit for the past week so it wasn't a surprise which is why, I think, I don't feel *too* disappointed. It was only our 1st cycle too, So it would've been amazing if I had managed it first time round!!! So yep, feeling all quite chilled about it atm.

I finally managed to claim my entitlement to maternity allowance. Took appealing numerous times and the idea of a tribunal before the MA office overturned their desicion. My contractions originally started on 21st at about 4pm, just as I was going to OH's parents for dinner, they were uncomfortable but bareable and by the time dinner was over they were starting to slow down though not easing so I just got on with my usual routine. Been MIA all weekend. We got in lawed. So Thurs and Fri were spent cleaning (apart from a sneaky spray tan session) and then Saturday spent cooking for Miss Kitty's dedication and party yesterday. Which went stunningly well apart from Tiny getting her fingernail ripped off in a doorframe incident :shock:

My DS is 2 1/2 but is young for his age. He shows an interest in the potty and will do a wee and sometimes a poo on the potty. Sometimes he will go to it on his own. Sometimes he will tell me he needs changing. However none of this is consistent or reliable. So I am keeping him in nappies and offering the potty at each change.
