Imogen Rose – Born 22nd April 2009 at 1.48am, weighing 7lb 10.5oz.

For a couple of weeks before my due date of 21st April I had been having increasingly strong braxton hicks and lots of period type pains. As Zach was born at 38 weeks I kept thinking any day now!!!

A lead up to now

A quick run up to right now.

Bren was diagnosed with Kidney failure just before his 21st birthday - 2000

We met the next year, we were only together for 3 months when he got sick and was admitted to hospital. It was through a routine scan that they found a Renal cell carcinoma (cancer of the kidney) his right kidney was removed October 2001 and thankfully he was contained and hadn't spread.

Because of his Renal failure and one kidney having been removed his body couldn't cope his condition advanced...

Home educating

Well, we have pretty much decided to HE starting now :) I know dd is only 2.5 but would rather ger into the habit now, not pushing it or follow a curriculum as such, I'll just try and give her opportunities to learn and help her along the way :) anyway, this is my HE journey blog, hope you like, if you've stumbled across...

My 12 month old was dry over 7 hours last night! WOO HOO!

Ahh, had a milestone last night, I'm thrilled.

As Jett has a brace on / between his legs for his clubfoot correction, I can't do night EC as I did with Mavey, though I tried for 9-10 months!

He wears an eco disposable each night, I empty it in the garden!

Anyhoo, I'm running out - have three left, so on stretching out mode (I hate buying more nappies)

I use some cloth, but dislike the wetness, he wriggles so much.

Last night I put a hand towel in a snap cover at about 7 when he passed out.
