Yesterday was the day it was all officially over. No more hope that the baby would be born alive. Surprisingly it is actually quite a relief for all the worrying and stress to be over.

After my BFP I was waiting for a miscarriage, after the 12week scan I was waiting to be told there was no heartbeat at the 16 weeks scan. I had an electrocardiogram today (echocardiogram on Sat.) and saw the consultant and have been discharged- everything was fine and I don't need antibiotic cover- woohoo! And I finally know what kind of heart murmur I have. I will be phoning my mw this Thurs to get my name on that homebirth list! Yay!! It's all actually going as I hoped, and more. :wine:
