My sewing projects

Well hubby bought me a sewing machine and overlocker so I thought I would start making my own nappies for the little one. I had thought about doing it for a long time, but have recently just got into it and have made 4 in the last week when hubby was doing his private pilot's licence in France.

This is my first attempt, a fitted one size with Red Robots knit and bamboo fleece, I needed a bit more practice with the snap placement but overall was very happy!

being a 'proudgrandma'

I am 58 years old,and have been married for 40 years . I have three adult sons who each have a son ..our three darling grandsons :-) Fergus aged four ,William aged 21 months and Isaac just 10 months and In December we will have another baby boy in the family,a little brother for Fergus!
How blessed we are .
I am interested in cloth nappies as I used them for all three of our sons and have bought them for two...

Not in a good place

and I can't find my way out. I'm trying so hard not to break down in tears at every little thing at the minute. OH has hit a bad place emotionally and he won't admit it so he's taking a lot of it out on me but on Saturday I just couldn't take it anymore and walked out of the hospital and left him there, I also didn't go back yesterday, I thought if I gave him chance to think he might pull out of it. Unfortunately not, I phoned him earlier on and I got another tirade. I'm tired (one of the things...

Puffed out

Being nearly halfway through my weightloss journey, I thought it was time to up the exercise. In other words, to do some. :oops: I also wanted to be able to record some of my journey to a 'new' me; mentally and physically.

So, this evening I did the first session of the C25K programme with a set of podcasts from Robert Ullrey. Now I'm more than a bit knackered.
