Phew!

All's well with the world- my home birth plans are falling into place. My mw is a lot better, thanks to the letter I sent. Now if someone would just approve my request to join the regulars group... :D
My weenotions are also going to be in my possession fairly soon. Dh has worked from home today and we have oodles of snow to gawp at, while being cosy indoors.

Home educating

Well, we have pretty much decided to HE starting now :) I know dd is only 2.5 but would rather ger into the habit now, not pushing it or follow a curriculum as such, I'll just try and give her opportunities to learn and help her along the way :) anyway, this is my HE journey blog, hope you like, if you've stumbled across...

It's all an experiment

We might call the children Experiment #1 and Experiment #2 but sometimes it really does seem like they are experimenting on us.

Isaac sat at the table this morning eating breakfast whilst Anthony and I were getting ready upstairs. Isaac starts to call for daddy.

Anthony comments to me "he'll just need to wait a moment"

"Dad" (short, staccato)

Exciting day

This morning dh had a reply from the ecological consultancy who coincidentally started offering the same species diagnostics service as dh and I have just started up as a mini business trial. She was perfectly pleasant in her email and, as suspected, they are going to subcontract rather than do it themselves (being ecologists not geneticists). As a bonus, though, she asked whether I'd be interested in more freelance surveying, as they are always on the look-out for more freelance...
