Another delivery :)

by frankie_n_baby on Sat Jan 17, 2009 6:55 pm
Today I left the house with my dh to take his car in to get new tyres, which I suspected would mean that I missed the second part of my babykind delivery. Imagine my joy when I read the little package slip to see that the lovely post lady had left my package at the back door! :wine: I didn't have to wait until Monday, after all, and have been cooing over my bamboozles, my blueberry pocket,...

But even I hadn't spent my hard earned cash on someone stroking my head to cure all ills. Until I saw the most amazing Lactation Consultant when Kits was so poorly, and she said it was a must. At that point, I would have danced naked round trees in the street if someone had suggested it would save my baby, so off we went.

We met him, we sat with a...

Homeschooling week one (and a bit)

by Velvetsteph on Tue Sep 13, 2011 4:21 pm
Okay - so the day before we start homeschooling officially as it were, I have had gallbladder surgery (keyhole) so am feeling a bit sore and need to sit and recover!

So day one was dvds  but that's ok - day -1 was DH taking the girls to the science museum and a ride on Thomas and some craft activities while I was in the hosp so actually I'd prefer to count that (and the whole of the summer...
