I've finally sorted through my nappy stash and made a complete list so thought I'd add it on a blog, nice way to keep a tab on it!!!

Potty aware

My DS is 2 1/2 but is young for his age. He shows an interest in the potty and will do a wee and sometimes a poo on the potty. Sometimes he will go to it on his own. Sometimes he will tell me he needs changing. However none of this is consistent or reliable. So I am keeping him in nappies and offering the potty at each change. Should I wait a bit longer for him to become more aware or be more proactive? My DD was being toilet trained at this age and was more or less dry during the day? But every...

Hooray for good news

Today we got the news we had been hoping for; OH is in remission!!! He still has to have another couple of courses of chemo but it means there is an end in sight to all of this. It still means we have a while on our own :( but we can live with that if it means daddy will be home with us soon and well again. All's well with the world- my home birth plans are falling into place. My mw is a lot better, thanks to the letter I sent. Now if someone would just approve my request to join the regulars group... :D
My weenotions are also going to be in my possession fairly soon. Dh has worked from home today and we have oodles of snow to gawp at, while being cosy indoors.
