I never thought I would be that parent. You know, the one that thinks their kid is super-smart, developmentally advanced and generally better than most other people’s kids.

But you must see that my kid is a musical genius.

Ok so I'm lazy and I probably should have done this before mid January but it's a bit late for that now and to be quite honest we've been a tad busy since Xmas. We haven't been up to much, I'm just in a good place at the moment. I don't think I have been much happier than I am now. When I'm not happy I'm content, and I think that is a really good thing. Well 1 week in and blw seems to be going well. Last week she seemed to just play with the food rather than eating it but this week she has really got down to business. The big hit of the day was avocado and banana mashed and spread on rice cakes yuck. She must be a savoury girl (not like me) as the face she pulled when I gave her a bit of nectarine was a picture :hohoho:

I have say I didn't believe that the sun would get the stains out of my beautiful nappies. So I conducted a very scientific experiment when I peg them on the line ones with stains I used 3 pegs. When I asked dh to go fetch the washing in he asked why I had used 3 pegs on some nappies as they all looked spotless to him. Clearly the sun bleaching is magic.

I'm off to see my mw today for the first time since booking in, in October. I'm not looking forward to it. Mind you, with all this snow, she may not make it to the local doc's. I will phone and see in a bit.
