Just spent some time round my mums and she dug out an old terry square of hers. Not sure how many children it was used for as she has had five but it was soo much better quality then mine. She said she used to get the best. So it seems you do get what you pay for. So if your looking at terrries my advice is don't go for the cheapest. And stay away from those awful boots plastic pants. They rip very badly.

A friend who also sells nappies is stopping selling them, which in someways is good as she is a rival. I have oppted to try and sell her stash. I would buy it all from her but I don't shift enought stuff to do that. I know she had her foot in the door of the local hospital so now she has gone I shall try getting my foot in the door. She is doing more holistic therepy, and if you live in hinckley I can say she does a lovely massage. The good news is that there is one less nappy seller in Hinckley....

We bought a nice, inexpensive chest of drawers from Ikea on Saturday and after OH made a fantastic roast on Sunday he assembled it. I am so pleased with him and it haha!
The top drawer is the designated fluff drawer, with the storage boxes I bought filled with the nappies, wraps, inserts. boosters. I have to say it looks pretty organised at the moment...I wonder how long that will last!
I do still need to wash a fair few of them, especially the pre-loved ones.
Clothes are in the middle drawer...

Ok so I'm lazy and I probably should have done this before mid January but it's a bit late for that now and to be quite honest we've been a tad busy since Xmas. We haven't been up to much, I'm just in a good place at the moment. I don't think I have been much happier than I am now. When I'm not happy I'm content, and I think that is a really good thing. When we argue I would like to think it's not the end of the world (despite my tendency to need to think before I speak ...

After visiting my local cloth nappy library the other day I came away with a few different brands of nappy to try. 3 days in and I'm really enjoying the experience so far, it really isn't harder than using disposables I find and the pros definitely outweigh any cons (not that I've found any in particular yet)

The brands I'm trying at the moment are:
Gnappies
Close pop-ins
Motherease one size & sandys
Tots bots bamboozle

So far I like them all! Now I just have to try and build a stash before...
