Living with a child with severe allergies

On April 12th 2006 we woke up excited, today Jack was 6 months old and starting weaning. I was planning on giving baby rice but I was a poor expresser due to a rubbish manual pump I now know so had no milk to mix it with. I decided to nip out and get him some rusks as these could be mixed with water into mush for him.

We had a busy day so didn't get down to feeding him till teatime ish perhaps a bit earlier. He wolfed it all down and really enjoyed it, within a few minutes though he looked very...

I'm back from my visit to my family and now have a cot, moses basket, bedding, bags and bags of clothes (and that's just 0-3 and 3-6months!) etc.etc. The nursery-to-be is chocka. I have also ordered some non-basic and lovely looking nappy items- a wet bag, pocket nappy in rainbow and very cute wrap with monsters on it. Well there isn't much going on, still nauseous, still tired, still really hoping that the next few weeks goes really quickly. I have no appetite but I am constantly hungry and I really don't want to eat anything but I seem to constantly be eating. I just want to eat what I fancy and actually fancy eating something. I am starting to worry that something will go wrong in these early stages now though, it seems silly but I feel like I'm not sure if we don't manage to have this baby that I can go through...
