I am so relieved to be home and cosy. I had a bad night last night and had to be up at 6:45am to get ready for work in Staffordshire. As it turned out there was a mix-up and the job was cancelled, so I was able to peel off the layers and layers of clothes I'd donned in preparation for a long cold morning/afternoon outside looking for signs of bats, birds etc. I got a lift back from my boss/colleague as dh had dropped me off before going to work. Well 1 week in and blw seems to be going well. Last week she seemed to just play with the food rather than eating it but this week she has really got down to business. The big hit of the day was avocado and banana mashed and spread on rice cakes yuck. She must be a savoury girl (not like me) as the face she pulled when I gave her a bit of nectarine was a picture :hohoho:

of the fluff I want/need to sell. Gosh but I like me some cloth. And Mum has some that someone else gave me to sell on Ebay before they decided to stop allowing cloth nappies.

Personally, I have a whole packet of Fluffles brand new to sell, 6 barely used fluffles, 3 XL Fuzzi Bunz (incl. microfibre insert) and 2 large Upsy Daisy pockets that will NEVER fit my skinny brat

i'm just invisible here. no one gives a toss what i got to say, no one notices i am here. how can u feel so alone in a crowd, easy. be me.

so today is a little easier, last night was horrible, i felt so bad i just wish i could have curled up and died tbh. too much stress on me right now, from thsi whole parking thing coming back up to haunt me, to my daughter having some kind of eating disorder, she seems to be wasting away and nothing i do seems to help. it's hard to admit that i really do need...

This morning dh had a reply from the ecological consultancy who coincidentally started offering the same species diagnostics service as dh and I have just started up as a mini business trial. She was perfectly pleasant in her email and, as suspected, they are going to subcontract rather than do it themselves (being ecologists not geneticists). As a bonus, though, she asked whether I'd be interested in more freelance surveying, as they are always on the look-out for more freelance...
