I thought I'd add some of my most recent knits here so I can show them off a bit. I learnt to knit a few months ago and I have become painfully addicted! A pair of large longies takes about 2 weeks, so I'm not rapid by any length of the imagination. I'm now trying the Sleuthing Hoodie and have a hat in mind as well as some knits for a friend's new baby boy...

Well, we have received our first WAHM made nappies, aside from our Wee Notions. I ordered them all through Hyena Cart, as I found it quite hard to find the nappy makers on the WAHM grapevine on CNT, from what I could see, the stores seemed to be mainly wool orientated, with some clothing stores and some selling mass-produced nappies and eco-products.

This made it slightly more expensive, as the postage costs were clearly higher than if we had bought from UK based WAHM stores,...

My DS is now around 12 weeks old. He is weRING A MIXTURE OF NAPPIES. I find that if they are two big they leak at the side, but on the whole things are ok. He is now wearing his birth to potty nappies but the squares are most reliable for not leaking at night. My DD is out of nappies altogether which is good. She was dry at night from just before her 3rd birthday. Nappy stash now includes, Boot, and mothercare terries, 1 Imsevimse organic. 1 Blueberry minki. 1 Blueberry bamboo, 1 oldstyle fuzzibunze,...

I never thought I would be that parent. You know, the one that thinks their kid is super-smart, developmentally advanced and generally better than most other people’s kids.

But you must see that my kid is a musical genius.
