Prefold mystery.

Hoping someone can help. I am a total prefold newbie.
I've been given some white prefolds, they have no tag or anything so don't know what make they are. They're plain white with white serging if that is of any help.
Also, they are 18"x12". What size is that roughly and what size baby do they fit? They look quite big, would they be too bulky on a newborn?

No help on what make it might be I'm afraid. But the Size 1 (Bambino Mio) prefold I have to hand measures 15 X 12 inches. I used them on DD2 when she was a newborn. They were were a little bulky as she was only 6lbs at birth but they did the job. I did, however, prefer our Swaddlebees newborn prefolds which were much smaller and gave a much trimmer fit.

Yours are quite a bit bigger though so I think they'd probably be very bulky on a newborn unless you're anticipating a large baby? I'd say that your would probably fit a baby from around 4-6 months.

Thanks for the reply. I did think they were quite oddly shaped, strangely high on the rise.
I shall put them in storage for a few months and see if they fit later.
