Are terries really much cop?

Postby miriam » Fri Feb 05, 2010 8:58 pm

Help...my bamboozles are smelly when wee'd in :(

..i have done all the stripping recommended on this site with no luck. I have 10 more the next size up on order just as this problem developed so i am considering cancelling the order and trying terries instead...can anyone tell me whether they actually do work. My mum used them so presumably they must be ok, but im wondering how they compare to something like bambinex bamboo-type nappies? Are they anywhere near as absorbant?? I dont really want to get Bamboo ones in case it is this fabric which is teh problem and i know you can wash cotton ones at a high temperature.

Thanks, help much needed...x

I only used terries on my newborn..i wouldnt fancy using them on an older baby but some people do  You can buy bamboo terries and prefolds that would be better than cotton terries too...

Whats your washing routine? Do you wash at 60c?
