I have tried a friend's prefolds + little lamb wraps for my currently disposable clad breastfed 4mo twins. I really liked the slim fit, velcro fastening and and that I could wrap the dirty nappy in the wrap with the bit of velcro on the outside once used (if that makes sense). They also contained two explosions But reading around it seems weehuggers wraps are maybe better, and that as the babies are almost 7kg I could perhaps go straight into size 2 with weehuggers?
To try also, I am going to get some preloved little lamb fitteds and bamboo terries. I suspect fitteds will be more acceptable once they start nursery around 12mo. Are terries much different from prefolds once folded? I can't see preloved prefolds for sale, are "inserts" the same, or can they work the same way? Where should I get prefolds from?
I am on a budget, have limited drying space and need something that will fit both a chunky thighed girl and more slimline boy. Total novice, would welcome any advice!
