Can I dye terries?

Hi everyone

I'm new to this so if this is a silly question please humour me. Can you dye terries and still use them on a baby. I think I will use terries for the first few month and like the look of bright bots, but can't find any pre-loved. But I have seen white terry square going. Just wondered if it was ok to liven them up a bit

Yep its fine to dye them, lots of people have dyed there white nappies

Yes, weve dyed terries before, long long time ago now but they are still very bright.

The only thing is that a lot of the dyes won't dye polyester. So on cotton, the stitching can sometimes not take the dye, and bamboo terries have a certain percentage of polyester, so they won't necessarily give even dying like cotton would.

Yep - I've dyed both cotton and bamboo nappies really successfully - infact the bamboo often looks better than the cotton!!

Dylon washing machine dye is the best bet...
