Folds

Postby moonfruit » Fri Sep 12, 2008 12:50 pm

Hi

I have managed to get my hands on some pre-loved bright bots :D

What would be the best fold on a 13lb baby (boy) and for a 26lb boy toddler. Not even going to attempt using them on my dughter too much of a wroggle bottom!

Thanks Lisa

I am a GREAT fan of the jo fold from the nappy lady website - we used it when Ben was a prem newborn with 40cm squares and I used it again recently when I ran out of nappies at my mum's and handly she had some squares left over from me! To me it gets more layers in the right place, rather than the kite fold which doesn't seem to absorb too much IMO.

When ds was that size i had to use 2 one pad folded inside another one kite folded and nippa'd on.

Jo fold works well for me - though it's supposed to be for boys it works well on my little girl too. Also this Ro fold I found instructions for worked really well for me for catching poop http://www.thenappylady.co.uk/public/ar ... spx?id=145
