What are your goals?

You tube is your best friend for learning girls! That is how I did it - stitch by stich, you can pause while you get your hands / yarn / hook in the right spots!

I have no time for anything new this month...

..........although I do really want to make a handmade shampoo bar :lookround:

I'm learning to spin my own yarn using a drop spindle.

I have so far concluded that I am putting too many stitches in to the corners of my granny squares (despite following the instructions), brought another hook (bamboo) and utterly failed on stitching into stitches (forget the proper name :giggle: )!

How about you?

I managed, had some help from a neighbour and well i can say I can crochet finally :giggle: Used my grandmothers old hooks, she left them to me when she died ages ago and it feels very special working with that.
Btw I found that working with cotton yarn is the easiest when you just start.

@clothmama - you need to teach me how to crotchet. I find it much easier being taught, rather than trying to learn through videos. My draft exam timetable has just been released; my final exam is scheduled for 22nd November. You'll have to head up to ours for a weekend after that date. (And before 9th December, when semester 3 starts.)

Sorry for the link but photobucket isn't doing what I want it to do.
