what to do with AIO once finished with (beyond use)

Postby Bek2000 » Sat Feb 21, 2009 11:43 pm

Hi, i have used Kushies AIO for both my children and have just finished with the first size. As both children have used them, they are now full of holes and cant be passed on. Does anyone know if they are recycleable (wasnt sure because of the waterproof outer layer. Advice appreciated, thanks Bek :babyroll:

I would be interested to know this too, I have one kushies that is in bad condition and can't be passed on but don't want to just throw it out!

Are they really really beyond use, or just not in good enough condition for someone to pay for them?

There's a South African charity looking for donations of used nappies for very very needy babies. http://www.clothnappytree.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=14942

If they are really beyond use, maybe cut up and use the bits for wipes or boosters?

I bought an old bumhugger (preloved) that didn't work for us at all so I took it apart and used the hemp to make a couple of 2 layered boosters that I now use regularly in my pockets :D
