Hi ladies......
I'm in the last couple of months on my first pregnancy and have been purchasing preloved nappies from the forum for a couple of months.
Through this site i came across the weenotions and swaddlebees web pages fell in love with the nappies and just had to purchase a few!!! I'm still waiting for my weenotions stuff to arrive (a PUL AI2 and a Northern Lights) But my swaddlebees stuff turned up yesterday. 1 x newborn fitted organic velour 1 x small snap AIO (i also purchased a wrap)
The questions are.......
The fitted has a sewn on flap of material. Do i put my nappy liner (i have some flushables) on top of this or do i need to purchase any inserts, liners (material ones) or doubblers (and what the hell are all of those things for .... and do!!!!) Do i only need to use one of those three things if my baby is a heavy wetter (in which case i should get some in just incase and which type of material is the best to get) With the washable liners, do they add as an extra absorbency layer too do they just catch the poo like the flushables??
Then with the AIO.... it has an opening at the back and has a padded section that is attached at both ends so not like a toung like the fitted. I take it the opening in the back is for me to add more material if i do not get enough absorbency from the nappy alone?
Also (i'm so sorry about this) with the AIO i will place my flush-able nappy liner on the top of the velour but do i need to use any thing else in between the velour and the liner to protect the velour (or is what the pocket is for).
Its great that there are sooooooooo many options, styles, fastening systems, materials, liners, boosters and doubbles but it blooming confusing to a newbie
Thanks for all your help!
