with :bf: exclusively i would say no! with us the poo just rolled off the top layer and out the legs ewww! but skinny legs and explosive poos every few days. however now we are on solids and have more chunky thight they are fab. With the smalls i would save them for after a big poo :hohoho:

We've had both experiences, so I'd say maybe it depends how wet they are before the poo IYSWIM. Kacie isn't a very heavy wetter either so that could be something that effects it. I've had times where I've thought there was a poo but looked in the wrong side, or down the back when it's all at the front  not smelled anything either and then been shocked a couple of hours later to find a mass of poo :puke: :puke:  Then I've had other time where it's just started to leak out the side, even though there's not much. Maybe it does depend on the conistancy of the poo somewhat. We're still getting runny :bf: poo though, as we're only doing hit and miss solids for now.
I'd go for use just after a poo for now and see how you fair. We're now using Itti's pretty much full time and I've only had one minor messy leak, IYKWIM.

We've never had problems with them, apart from when the fleece liner was too wide & caused wicking...

We don't really get 'poo problems' though as my poor girly doesn't go that much due to digestion issues (even though bf)...

So no issues with 'firmer' poo!!

Well just wanted to say now Kacie's poos are soliding up :giggle: my Itti's are doing a fab job :wine: Maybe a little too fab as she's had 3 poos in them now that I haven't had a clue about until I've gone to change her, resulting in a bit of a sore botty :(

I would say they are pretty good. Enna is exclusively :bf: and manages to save hers poo up over quite a number of days (aparantly this can occur in :bf: babies and is ok so a website said) so when she goes, she really goes and although sometimes we may get a tiny leak, usually they hold all the poo, I think to be honest we usually end up with more of a mess once I take the itti off! :giggle: 3 young kids and I still have bad nappy changing experiences! especially when those feet get loose and start kicking and spreading :(
