Dress help!

Postby ems101 » Fri Apr 20, 2018 6:07 pm

I need a maxi dress for my sisters wedding. I'm a bridesmaid but she doesn't want matching. Colours are muted purple, blue, pink, green, greys. I'd prefer something I can wear again, ie not too fancy!

Heeeeelllllp me!

I'm sorry I am the most unfashionable person but sounds like a lovely idea for dresses that can be worn again. If I have time later I'll have a browse but agree with Marie - often lots of choice on Asos. Next usually have really nice stuff like that too. Looking forward to some optoins pics :waiting: :waiting: :giggle:

Pretty dress @aeseldyr! But not sure it's the right colours

Do you like this? Rob asked if it was for me or Jennifer er.... Is it too little girly?
Empire line cqn make you look a bit preggy too... http://www.next.co.uk/g76104s4#522662

Or this http://m.asos.com/asos/asos-design-maxi ... styles=907

But weird side holes!

I do like that @clothmama but I'd never wear it again just because I'd never have the opportunity, it's too formal. I need something g I could wear to a summer bbq or going out to dinner. That's my difficulty.

Not keen on the first - looks like a going to the beach over a pair of swimmers dress to me - not little girly but not dressy enough.
LOVE the 2nd and think that is perfect mix of not too formal and will wear again and smart. However like you i have issues with the holes (no way I could wear it there would be bits poking out :hohoho: :hohoho: ). I think if you can find something very similar to that but with no holes that would be perfect and look lovely on you!

Have to agree - of the two the second one is best  The first one is a little to casual and IMO the cut is for little girls
