What shall I do for winter for Lola?

Postby gilbertandmartha » Tue Sep 24, 2013 4:21 pm

at night she's currently in fitteds with fleece shorts on top which is fab. But i don't know whether to make her some regular jimjams to go over the fleece, or just go with fleece long pants?

I seriously can't remember if jimjams over the top will get damp

We've just fleece wraps under pj's with no problems. Just as long as the nappy is boosted well depending on how they sleep (ie front boosting for tummy sleepers)

Why not use the fleece shorts under pj's as an extra layer when it's colder?
Just size up on the pjs so there's no compression wicking.
I suppose it depend on how cold Lola gets?
Eleanor hates being cold - so we've always gone for more layers with her

I think I might start with a couple of pairs of flongies, but make the waist elastic, and try and make them more fitted, the soakers she uses now are so massive she looks ridiculous (but that is cos she's got a big butt)

I suppose it will be a bit of see how it goes, it does get cold here in winter, but not freezing. But she's like a nuclear reactor so shouldn't get too cold!
