Wicking

Postby ems101 » Wed Apr 16, 2014 12:10 am

Weve never had a problem with leaking wraps with james but ben seems to be out peeing his now. We're using bsmboo lls with ll or nature baby wraps. The wraps seem to be getting damp at the seams and on the lables and making his clothes damp. Im wondering if I need to boost the nappies or chsnge wraps or...?

are they new wraps? if so it could be solved by boosting. If they are old maybe the waterproof on the seams has gone a bit.

I think it might be the waterproofing on a particular wrap (which was new). it always leaks in the same place. humph

Pop it in the dryer for a bit - it can help reseal the PUL if it's got sewing holes in it.

Well I've put some of our older wraps from my cousins daughter in the tumble dryer which seems to have worked.
